A neat book.The concept, that children/we/society should love others even if they are clumsy, respectively, if they aren't perfect is presented very well.
However, I believe the author misses an opportunity to talk about training little Sparky (dog). I would not say this if Sparky was just a little clumsy but he isn't.
Sparky is so clumsy that even his boy-owner realizes that his dog is more clumsy than others. Hence, the concept, "we can help, we can train, practice, etc..." should be introduced.

I enjoyed this story too! This one has a wonderful moral in it to love another who may seem very clumsy but needs love and support friends. Great picture book i love it it's a great little story and I love Sparky and he is a cute little dog and I love that he is clumsy like me and it's a little repeating its self but I don't mind I love it.
This is a cute fun book that is great for kids to read or to have read to them. I loved the dog "Sparky' and think he will be a favorite among children.Repeating the one line Clumsy or not, I love him a lot will have children yelling the words out and learning to read, plus they get a good lesson about even though we have problems we are all worthy of love.
